 Advertising

The process of informing and persuading actual and potential consumers, through a communication method, of a product or service availability.

 

Advertising coverage

Breadth and dimension of market segments to which the advertisement will be transmitted.

 

Agent middleman

An intermediary in a channel of distribution who does not purchase the goods himself but who arranges for their delivery.

 

Aggression

A behavioural response usually as a result of a frustrated goal or need and often as a defensive mechanism.

 

Articles of association

The internal regulations on the running of the company, which are registered when the company is formed.

 

Attitudes

Opinions and judgements which are formed as a result of the internalized values and beliefs.

 

Beliefs

The acceptance of something which is acknowledged as real or true.

 

Break-even analysis

An accountancy technique which studies how revenue and costs vary with the level of output and which determines the level where totals costs are exactly the same as total revenue.
